Entrusted (Club Destiny #7)(54)
Author: Nicole Edwards

“Does it feel good?” he asked, breathless.

“Yes. Fuck me, Logan. Fuck me harder!”

Logan didn’t hesitate, his hands fisting the blankets beneath them as he began slamming into her, over and over, faster, harder, deeper. Fucking hell.

Sam cried out, her pussy milking him, nearly pulling his own orgasm from him. Somehow he managed to refrain, not wanting to come yet. Not until Elijah was there, until all three of them could go together.

Rising back to his knees, Logan grabbed Sam’s ankles. “Pull your knees against your chest,” he told her.

She managed to pull her knees in closer, which allowed Elijah the ability to thrust his hips, shallowly driving into her. Logan assisted by slamming into her. He released one of her ankles so he could play with her clit, strumming it with his thumb while she moaned and writhed, attempting to help them along.

“Close,” Elijah said, his voice muffled. “So fucking close. Damn, baby. Sam… Oh, fuck.”

Elijah’s hips stilled, his dick pulsing and Logan upped the tempo, slamming into her again and again, driving himself as deep as he could. He met Sam’s hooded eyes.

“Logan! Oh, God, Logan. I’m…”

Yeah, he was too.

Chapter Eighteen

Two weeks later…

For the past two weeks, Sam had spent a lot of time with both Logan and Elijah. Together. Separate. But no matter what, she’d had at least one of them with her. Well, except for the night she went out with the girls, but even then, she’d talked about them so much, it felt as though they’d been right there with her.

To put it mildly, the last few weeks had been the most amazing weeks of her life. The three of them were getting close. Closer than she thought they would. Elijah and Logan spent time together as well, much of the time right there at the house just talking. They had a lot in common and not just work.

Sam didn’t think it could get better than it was.

But that thought was the very reason she was sitting on the sofa, her phone in her hand while Logan was in their master bathroom showering. She needed to call Elijah because there was something on her mind that she couldn’t seem to shake.

Before she could muster the courage to dial, her phone startled her when it started ringing in her hand. She glanced down at the screen to see Elijah’s name come up. Taking a deep breath, she hit the talk button.

“Did you know I was thinking about you?” she asked as a greeting.

“No,” Elijah said and she noticed a sadness in his tone. “But it makes me feel good to know that.”

“What’s wrong?” she asked, all teasing aside.

“I just needed to hear your voice this morning,” he said and Sam’s heart did a somersault in her chest.

They were both quiet for a moment and finally Sam decided to spill it. “What are you doing today?”

“Nothing that I know of,” he told her.

“I was wondering if…” Sam choked on the words.

“What is it, Sam? Is everything ok?”

“Everything’s fine. Mostly. God, this is going to sound really stupid, but I wanted to see if we could go visit Beth today.”

Elijah didn’t say anything which made Sam panic. “If you don’t want to, I completely understand. It’s just that I wanted to, you know, go talk to her. I thought…”

“I’d love that,” Elijah finally said, his voice much softer than before.

“How about we come to you. Logan and I will meet you at your house. Then we’ll go over there together. Will that work?”

“Yes. That works.”

“We’ll be there in half an hour. Or do you need more time.”

“I’ll be ready. Oh, and… Thank you, Sam.”

Sam didn’t know what he was thanking her for, but the phone disconnected and she was left sitting there alone. When she looked up, she saw Logan watching her. That’s when she realized she was crying.

“Does he want to go?” Logan asked.

“Yes,” she answered. “I told him we’d be there in half an hour.”

Logan nodded and returned to the bedroom, probably to get his shoes.

It had been Logan’s suggestion to go to the gravesite. They’d been talking, just the two of them, the night before and she had mentioned how she wished she could’ve met Beth. It was a strange emotion for her, she knew, but she felt a connection to the woman. Obviously through Elijah. And for some reason, she wanted a chance to let Beth know that she was there. To let the woman who would forever hold Elijah’s heart know that she wanted to be the person who would take care of Elijah for her.
